Todd Marsh enters his 4th season at the helm of
the girls team having compiled a record of 24-11 in 3 seasons. Todd led the
Comets to their first ever CAAC Blue Meet Title in 2007, while also
capturing first in the Haslett Invitational twice (2005, 2007). He has also
been awarded the MISCA Zone 7 Coach of the Year Award twice (2005, 2007) and
the Lansing State Journal Dream Team Coach of the Year Award once (2007).
Under his leadership there have been 10 school records set, 20 state cuts
made and he has coached 2 CAAC Champions. Todd works under Coach Townsend
during the boys season and assisted coach Linda Seibold from 1997-2002. He
then spent 3 years as the head coach of the Grand Ledge Dolphins Swim Club.
Todd is a graduate of Michigan State University and teaches Chemistry at
Portland High School.

Ian Townsend enters his 4th season leading the
boys team while registering a record of 21-9-2. He has led the boys to two
Haslett Invitational Crowns (2006, 2007) and two Top 3 finishes at the CAAC
Blue Meet (2006, 2007). During his tenure the team has set 2 school records
as well as made 8 state cuts and coached 5 CAAC Champions. Ian assists Todd
Marsh during the girls season and serves as the head coach of the Girls
Varsity Water Polo Team. He served under Coach Linda Seibold for both girls
and boys from 2002-2005. Prior to becoming GL Head Coach he spent 1 season
(2005) as head man at Lansing Eastern High School. Ian is a full time
student at Michigan State University majoring in History.

Jason Algra is entering his 6th year as an
assistant coach to both the girls and boys teams. Jason has been involved
with swimming for a number of years and works at Grand Ledge High School as
a Science Teacher. |
